Beef Schedules remain steady in the North Island, with South Island Bull & Cow lifted 10 cents. NI lamb lifted to $7.70, and SI lamb now $7.55. Store cattle markets remain quiet, due to winter conditions and the on going issues around M Bovis holding some buyers back at present. Prices remain similar to last weeks report. Store lambs prices remain steady at $3.60 - 3.80kgLW. There is plenty of heat in the lamb market, with AgriHQ June outlook forecasts lamb prices to peak at $8.15 in October, with other sources saying up to $8.30.
