Beef schedules remain steady in the North Island, with the South seeing a lift of 5 - 10 cents this week. NI lamb is at $7.80, with SI lamb at $7.65. On the dairy front, we have a few good lines of incalf heifers available, if you are still looking to top up numbers for the coming season. You can check them out here. Prices for I/C heifers are ranging from $1000- $1600, depending on figures and type. A few good lines of R1 heifers are available, with prices ranging from $700 - $1100. On the beef and sheep front, 100kg Friesian bull contracts for early calves are setting around $500 - $550 this season. Autumn 100kg Friesian bulls are trading around $600 - $620 at present. Store cattle prices still remain steady, with R1 Fries bulls trading around $3.50kgLW, with R2 bulls around $2.80kgLW. R1 Steers are trading at $3.60 - $3.80, with R2 steers around the $3 mark. Store lambs remain steady ranging from $3.50 - $3.80kgLW. SIL ewes are trading around $160 - $180.
