Beef schedules are steady overall this week, with NI lamb at $8.20, and SI lamb at $8.00. On the dairy front, calves are hitting peak supply in the coming week, with prices looking to come back as more Friesian bulls hit the market. Good bulls last week were fetching around $180 - $200, with Medium bulls around $140 - $160, and very little demand for smaller calves. Large numbers will be available over the next couple of weeks, so it's likely these prices will ease. On the beef & sheep front, Store cattle demand is increasing, with limited supply making it hard to fill orders. Prices are on par with last week overall. Store lambs are only getting hotter, with prices around $160 - $180 or $4 - $4.60kgLW is the range for lambs this week. SIL ewes are fetching around the $180 - $200 mark, depending on quality.
Have a great week from the MLR team.
