Beef schedules are mostly steady, with local trade up 5 - 10 cents. NI lamb is at $8.35, with SI lamb at $8.20. On the dairy front, demand is steady for calves, with Friesian bulls trading from $100 - $170 depending on quality. WH bulls are fetching $150 - $250 depending on quality, with heifers around $80 - $160. Other beef calves are ranging from $100 - $200 depending on quality. Inmilk cows and heifers are still selling for $1000 - $1500 depending on breed and figures. On the beef & sheep front, store cattle markets remain steady on last week, with plenty of demand for most classes, but limited numbers coming out at present. Store lambs are in hot demand, with most trading around $4.20 - $4.80kgLW, with Ewes with LAF trading around $110 - $130 all counted.
