Another week of beef schedules easing back 5 -20 cents. NI lamb is down to $8.30, with SI lamb down to $8.00. On the dairy front, grass growing conditions are great for most areas, with most dairy farms now hitting peak milk production around 2 weeks ahead this season. The Fonterra forecast payout is now in the range of $6.25 - $6.50 per kg/MS due to a stronger global milk supply relative to demand at this time. Ewes with LAF are trading around $100 - $120, depending on quality and age of lambs. New season store lambs are just starting to hit the market, with prices around $3.60kgLW for 40kg lambs.
