NI beef schedules remain steady overall but in the SI all beef schedules are down around 5 - 10 cents this week. NI lamb is steady at $8.10, with SI lamb is now at $7.90 this week. On the dairy front, dairy livestock sales remain slow with limited buyers at present. Another export order for China will help to move a few of the Friesian incalf heifers on the market. Money is $1600 for mid Feburary delivery subject to normal export protocol. On the beef & sheep front, rain and more rain is kicking the store cattle markets along this week with Friesian 1yr bulls fetching around $2.70 - $2.80kgLW. 1yr Steers are trading around $3.30 - $3.40kgLW with heifers at around $3kgLW. Friesian weaner bulls are showing signs of improving with prices around $480 - $520 depending on weights. The store lamb market is fill with confidence with most trading around $3.60 - $3.70kgLW.
