Another warm week for most of us, with some more rain on the way at the end of the week. Beef schedules are steady overall this week. NI lamb is steady at $7.00, with SI lamb is steady at $6.60. On the dairy front, a new export order is out for R1 Friesian heifers to China for mid June delivery at $1075. Dairy herds are still hitting the market with most selling around $1600 - $1700. Incalf heifers are around $1400 - $1600 depending on quality. On the beef & sheep front, store cattle markets remain quiet this week with run weaners and only class coming out in numbers with prices back on last year. Store lambs are in good demand with farmers looking to full orders for the winter. Most are fetching $3.20 - $3.40kgLW.
Have a great week from the MLR team.
