On the dairy front, the GDT auction was up 1.9% overall, with WMP up 4%. News this week that Fonterra is back in the black, but still working on selling off assets to reduce debt in the coming months. On the beef and sheep front, store cattle markets are steady at the moment, with R2 Friesian bulls trading around $2.70 - $2.80kgLW, and R2 steers at $3 - $3.20kgLW, and heifers around $2.80kgLW. R1 bulls are trading at $3.60 - $3.90kgLW, with R1 steers at $3.80 - $3.90kgLW, and heifers at around $3kgLW. Store lambs are fetching $3.40 - $3.60kgLW.
