Beef schedules are steady again overall this week. NI lamb is firm at $7.30, with SI lamb up at $6.95. On the dairy front, a few clearing sales have taken place over the last couple of weeks, with prices ranging from $1400 - $1700, depending on quality. Good quality cows with good indexes are selling well, however demand is limited for lower end quality cows. Paddock sales for cows are around $1400 - $1500. Incalf heifers are hard to move, with limited interest at present. On the beef & sheep front, store cattle markets remain soft, with limited demand overall. Prices remain similar to last week. Store lambs are fetching around $3.40 - $3.60kgLW.
Have a great week from the MLR team.
