NI lamb has lifted to $7.65, with SI lamb also lifted to $7.30. On the dairy front, this weeks GDT auction was down 3.4% overall, with WMP down 1.5%. If you have moved dairy cattle over the last few days, then remember to update your NAIT records. On the beef & sheep front, store cattle markets overall remain quiet, with some demand starting to heat up on some classes of cattle. R2 Steers are fetching around the $3 mark, with heifers around $2.60 - $2.70kgLW. R2 Friesian bulls are around $2.40 - $2.60, if you can find a buyer. R1 bulls around 200kg are making around $600. Store lambs are steady at $3.40 - $3.80kgLW. Scanned inlamb ewes are trading around $150 - $180 depending on quality, with top 3 year ewes fetching around $200.
