Beef schedules overall have lifted 5 - 10 cents this week, with next week looking to lift again as well. NI lamb has lifted to $7.75, with SI lamb also lifted to $7.45. On the dairy front, there is demand for incalf cows, however limited demand for Incalf heifers and R1 heifers are hard to move, unless they are Friesian suitable for export. There are still a few export options for R1 Friesians for Winter/Spring delivery dates. On the beef & sheep front, Store cattle prices remain steady, with demand improving for most classes of stock. Store lambs are trading around $3.50 - $3.70kgLW. Large numbers of ewes are coming out now, with most selling around $150 - $200 depending on quality.
Have a great week from the MLR team.
