Beef schedules overall have lifted another 5 - 10 cents this week, with some plants battling to full space. NI lamb is steady at $7.80, with SI lamb lifted to $7.60. On the dairy front, calving is just around the corner now with most farms looking well set up for a good start to spring. Calf prices for this season look like they will be similar to last year. Will give a full market update on calves around mid July. On the beef & sheep front, store cattle prices remain similar to last week with most classes now showing better demand from buyers at present. Store lambs are still in good demand with most fetching $3.90 - $4.20kgLW.
Have a great week from the MLR team.
