As we head towards spring it's looking to be a wet one for most of the country! Beef schedules are steady overall this week. NI lamb has lifted to $8.30, with SI lamb steady at $7.90. On the dairy front, calf prices overall are easing with demand easing in some areas, most Friesian bulls are in the range of $80 - $160. We will likely see some price change again this week. Good quality calves with some age are still selling well. Good quality beef x calves are also selling well. On the beef & sheep front, store cattle markets remain steady this week, with most prices in line with last week. Store lamb demand is easing, with prices in the range of $4.20 - $4.50kgLW.
Have a great week from the MLR team.
