Beef schedules overall are steady in the North Island, with SI bull & cow up 5 - 10 cents this week. NI lamb has lifted to $8.40, with SI lamb up at $8.10. Most Friesian bulls are selling from $80 - $150 depending on quality. Beef bull calves are selling well, but heifers are harder to move. On the beef & sheep front, store cattle markets remain steady, with similar values to last week. Store lambs are selling at $4 - $4.40kgLW. Ewes with lambs at foot are starting to come out now, with most fetching around $90 - $120 all counted.
Have a great week from the MLR team.
