Beef schedules are up 5 - 10 cents overall this week. NI lamb has lifted another 5 cents, with SI lamb also up 5 cents. On the dairy front, with mating just around the corner, service bull sales are well underway with mixed results, but most are saying these sales are back up to $500 /head on last year. Remember to have plenty of bull power as MT cows are expensive! On the beef & sheep front, store cattle markets remain steady this week. Store lambs are steady, with most selling around the $4/kgLW mark. Ewes with lambs at foot are still fetching up to $120 all counted.
Have a great week from the MLR team.
