Very spring like weather this weekend, with warm rain and sun helping to kick the grass along. Beef schedules are steady overall this week. NI lamb & SI lamb is also steady this week. On the dairy front, the GDT auction was up 0.5% overall this week, with WMP unchanged at US$3,133/MT. Bulls are heading into heifers everywhere at the moment, with herd bulls next inline. On the beef & sheep front, store cattle prices remain steady this week, with 100kg Friesian bulls making $520 - $560 depending on quality. New season lambs are hitting the market, with most fetching $130 - $170 or $4.50 - $5.50kgLW. Ewes with LAF are making $120 - $140 all counted.
