Plenty of sun around over the weekend to keep the grass moving. Beef schedules have lifted again overall this week. NI lamb & SI lamb have also lifted this week. On the dairy front, a few buyers are looking for inmilk cows, so if you have any surplus then get them listed now, before the market drys up. On the beef & sheep front, the grass market is kicking things along, with store cattle prices strong again this week. Friesian 1yr bulls are trading at $3 - $3.30, with R2 bulls at similar prices. 1yr Steers are making around the $4 mark, with heifers at $3.30 - $3.40kgLW. New season lambs are trading around $4.50 - $5kgLW, with ewes with LAF fetching $120 - $140 all counted depending on quality.
Have a great week from the MLR team.
