Beef schedules have lifted overall around 10 cents this week. NI lamb & SI lamb are both $9 this week. On the dairy front, the GDT auction was up 3.7% overall, with WMP up 3.6%. The demand for dairy products is looking good, which should result in the payouts lifting further by end of season! If you are still looking for service bulls to finish the herd, then we still have Hereford and Ayrshire listed at the moment. On the beef & sheep front, Friesian 1yr bulls are trading at $3 - $3.30kgLW. 1yr Steers are fetching $3.80 - $4.10kgLW, with heifers around $3 - $3.50kgLW. The 100kg Friesian bull market is hitting harder ground, with most selling around $480 - $520 this week. Beef x calves are in good demand, with these around $550 - $600. Store lamb prices have eased up, with most trading around $4.30 - $4.60kgLW.
Have a great week from the MLR team.
