Beef schedules are all up around 5 - 10 cents this week, with signs the meat processors are getting short of cattle. NI lamb is up at $6.95, with SI lamb up at $6.70

On the dairy front, dairy cows and heifers are still selling at auctions and in the paddock. Prices range a lot depending on quality with limited numbers are on the market at present. R1 Friesian heifers are in huge demand for export to China with orders out to September delivery. Prices for these are around $1400 - $1600 depending on delivery dates and records. 

On the beef & sheep front, store cattle markets remain steady with no signs of these markets lifting till the spring now. R2 Frsn Bulls are trading around $2.30 - $2.40kgLW with R1 Frsn bulls around $2.10 - $2.40kgLW. R1 Steers are fetching $2.70 - $3 with heifers around $2.30 - $2.60kgLW. R2 Steers are making $2.30 - $2.50kgLW with heifers at $2 - $2.30kgLW. Store lambs are ranging from $3 - $3.50 depending on quality.
